Important public notice to the Tasmanian Community
We’re still here
In these uncertain times we just wanted to let you know that TasRail continues to work 24/7 to transport critical goods for Tasmanian industry and major freight forwarders. To keep our teams healthy we have implemented best-practise hygiene and physical distancing measures at our sites around the state. Our COVID Response and Recovery teams meet regularly to ensure that the most up-to-date advice is available to our teams.
So, while your routine may have changed during these tumultuous times, ours certainly hasn’t.
To continue to do what we do best, we need your help. Please:
- Look out for trains at level crossings and obey all normal road rules
- Stay out of the rail corridor and off our bridges and other infrastructure
- Do not enter TasRail sites without permission
TasRail will continue to apply all the procedures required to keep rail operations safe.
Keeping our team, the Tasmanian community and your families safe is our number one priority.
Working together we will remain Tasmania’s trusted provider of safe and dependable rail logistics solutions.
TasRail – we’re here for the long haul!
