TasRail Public Notice - Elizabeth River Rail Bridge Works at Campbell Town

VEC has been contracted by TasRail to undertake essential infrastructure work on the South Line at Elizabeth River Bridge, Campbell Town. The scheduled works include the replacement of the bridge structure and track components.

Works will commence on Monday 26 February 2018 and continue until 27 April 2018.

Working hours will be from 6am to 6pm.

TasRail will shut the rail track for 70 hours for the bridge to be replaced from 5am on 30 March to 2 April. Works may continue through the night.

 

TasRail requires its contractors to comply with all health, safety and environmental laws, and TasRail’s own policies and procedures.

TasRail sincerely thanks the State and Federal Governments for their ongoing commitment to upgrading Tasmania’s rail infrastructure through the $119 million Infrastructure Investment Program.
