A Deloraine level crossing will be closed this weekend and next as part of TasRail’s $119.6 million upgrade of Tasmania’s freight rail network.
Works are scheduled at East Westbury Place, Deloraine as part of the level crossing improvements.
Diversions will be in place to ensure the safety of all motorists, pedestrians and TasRail’s employees and contractors.
The following closure is planned at the level crossing:
East Westbury Place:
- Saturday, 3 February: 6am – 11.59pm
- Sunday, 4 February: 00.01am – 6pm
- Saturday 10 February: 6am – 11.59am
- Sunday, 11 February: 00:01am – 6pm
Diversion: All traffic will be diverted via a temporary crossing off Railway Street.
